If you happen to be in Long Beach, try and stop at The Art of Bloom pop up museum! (It leaves September 29th). I found the concept of the exhibit last to be quite intriguing, as an app needs to be downloaded for part of the “museum”. There were two exhibits, if you will, and they both incorporated some sort of meditative property (as advertised). … Continue reading The Art of Bloom
Oregon is known for its greenery and natural wonders. I started off my trip at the Japanese Garden in Portland. The area was so peaceful. My favorite part of the garden was the koi pond. Next on my list were the waterfalls! I drove along the Mt. Hood Loop, stopping to see the falls. Multonomah Falls was the tallest and also had some area to … Continue reading Portland, OR
The Aquarium of the Pacific, or The Long Beach Aquarium, has been one of my favorite destinations since I was little. The entrance featured scuba divers feeding the fish in the Tropical Reef exhibit. I’m impressed with the range of animals presented here. My favorite exhibit is the Spider Crabs. They are freighting, but also very interesting creatures. I love watching the different … Continue reading The Aquarium of the Pacific
Last Sunday, my family and I drove down to Laguna Beach to attend the Sawdust Art Festival’s 28th Annual Winter Fantasy. There were so many booths set up, all with different media. The variety included jewelry, photography, clothing, ceramics, woodworks, painting, and sculpture. Being a winter theme, there were multiple Christmas trees and nutcrackers around. It even “snowed”! Admission was not 75 cents as it … Continue reading Sawdust Art Festival 2018
Today is world vegetarian day, and I was reminiscing about a cute restaurant I found in Key West… The Café! The options were endless and the food was delicious! We went there multiple times during our trip, so by the third day, the waitress recognized us! My favorite meals would have to be the “Un-Wing Dings” – a take on BBQ wings- and a mushroom quiche. … Continue reading On this world vegetarian day…

Niagara Falls produces negative ions, which give you a positive feeling. Negative ions are found where water flows, for example when it rains, when you go to the beach or even when you shower! Negative ions are known to improve your mood, relieve … Continue reading You have to feel it to believe it!
